About This Site
This project began in 2022 as an independent study at the Seminary of the Southwest by first-year student Caitlin Frazier. For ten years Caitlin was a member of Dozier’s former parish St. Mark’s Episcopal Church-Capitol Hill, where she heard about the work and witness of Verna Dozier. Seminary gave Caitlin the opportunity to craft a course of study focused around Verna Dozier, particularly her place in Episcopal Church History and examining her seminal work, The Dream of God. Rev. Daniel Joslyn-Siemiatkoski and Dr. Anthony D. Baker served as faculty advisers for this project.
